Orange pi 5: Full update breaks HDMI display

Postby leamas » Wed Apr 03, 2024 6:40 am

I'm on Orange Pi 5, and an Arch newbie. My starting point is the image provided by OrangePi atmake_clickable_callback(MAGIC_URL_FULL, ' ', 'http://www.orangepi.org/html/hardWare/computerAndMicrocontrollers/service-and-support/Orange-pi-5.html', '', ' class="postlink"')

The OS works just fine. However, to be able to build I need to update it since installing flatpak-builder gives an undefined symbol. So, I do sudo pacman -Syu.

Which, after a reboot, breaks the HDMI monitor display as of below. I was able to make an update a few days ago which did not give this result, so this is probably about some late change.

Any hint out there?
